03-Jan-12: As 2011 comes to a close we are very happy to report that we had over 11.5 million hits in 2011. This is way above the target we had set for ourselves as we had planned to double our hits from year one.

As Joe and I both work full time, the site takes up every spare minute we have in the evenings and at weekends and we call on the community to please get more involved and submit stories and photos. David Brangan who has been taking photos for over 50 years is also onboard as a valued member of the team and between the three of us we spread out the workload which can sometimes mean driving from event to event and spending many hours out in the rain and cold but we look forward to another great year in 2012. We would also like to thank Martin Fanning and Gary Tolan for their ongoing contributions..

Many thanks toall the great the people who continue to support us and to all the great people we have met throughout the course of the year!
