BCSG
(Balbriggan Cancer Support Group) is a community driven and volunteer based organisation
that was established in May 2010 by a group of local men and women concerned with
the lack of cancer support within the area.
Founded
in 1985 after the first guide dog "Frank" came to live with his owner in the town
of Balbriggan; which is located 22 miles North of Dublin City, just off the M1
motorway. This branch of Irish guide dogs is run entirely, as all the branches
of the organization are, by volunteers.
Founded in
1945 Balbriggan Golf Club, located just 15 minutes from Dublin Airport and just
off the M1 motorway, is now among the premier parkland courses in Leinster.
